LayerPx MCP connection · updated 2026-10-29
Privacy policy
This policy explains the data used by the LayerPx MCP connection, how you control access, and how to request deletion.
Data used by the connection
You sign in to LayerPx and choose one board you own. Read is the default. The connection can return that board’s title and identifiers, task tree, task status, labels, covers and card notes. With explicit Edit consent it can also create branches and update cards. Other boards and personal Flame are outside the connection’s grant.
LayerPx stores the connection’s client metadata, selected-board grant, permissions, timestamps, authorization and token records. It also keeps operation receipts and actor activity records for writes. A LayerPx account holds an email address and name, plus a password hash if you registered with a password. If you use Google sign-in, it also holds your Google account identifier. See the general LayerPx privacy policy for account data and the rest of the service.
Why this data is used
These records authorize access to your selected board and process the reads or edits you request. Operation receipts help handle repeated write requests, and actor records show who made a change in the board’s activity history.
Connected clients and service providers
Information returned by tools becomes available to the connected client, such as ChatGPT. Its provider processes those copies under its own terms and policies.
The product uses Railway with PostgreSQL, Vercel, PowerSync Cloud and PostHog. PostHog analytics are disabled on the connection consent page. Infrastructure providers may also process operational logs.
Your choices and data requests
Use Access → AI connections → Revoke access on the connected board to stop future access immediately. Revocation does not undo card changes, delete the board or activity history, or remove copies already returned to ChatGPT.
For privacy questions or a request to permanently delete a board, an account or other personal data, email supp@layerpx.com. We first confirm your identity and what you want deleted. We complete the agreed deletion within 30 days after those details are confirmed. You cannot currently delete an account yourself in the app.
How long we keep boards
We keep your boards, including boards in Trash, until you make a confirmed request for permanent deletion. Boards in Trash can be restored; moving a board there does not permanently delete it.
Backups and service logs
Our goal is to retain backup copies and service logs for no more than 30 days where our providers support that limit. Actual retention depends on each provider’s available controls. Copies may remain in backups or logs after deletion from the active service.
Copies already returned to a connected client, such as ChatGPT, are handled under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
